Oliver is a 1 year, 4 months old male Terrier/Mix who weighs 30 pounds and has been with us for 21 days. Meet Oliver, a sweet, timid boy with the softest, floppiest ears you'll ever meet! At just a year old and weighing only 30 pounds, he may be small in size, but the love and potential in his heart are boundless. Despite his adorable appearance, Oliver is a shy soul, still trying to make sense of a world that's been anything but kind. He should be bouncing around, playing, and enjoying the company of his family, but instead, he's been navigating a life of uncertainty. Oliver and his sister Sadie were found tied to a fence post near Washburn St. Cemetery-left behind with no one to care for them. They'd been wandering the area on and off for weeks before being brought to safety. While they are now safe with us, this is not the home they deserve. Oliver's journey has only just begun, and he's ready to take the first steps toward finding a loving, patient family who will help him overcome his shyness and show him the warmth and love he's been missing. What Oliver needs most is a person (or family) who understands the importance of patience and consistency. He'll thrive in a calm environment where he can decompress, build trust, and experience the joy of human interaction. Once he knows he's safe, you'll see a side of him that's full of potential-playful, affectionate, and loyal. Oliver will need a home that offers love, attention, playtime, and a cozy place to rest his little head. Most importantly, he needs a family that will invest in him, helping him flourish at his own pace. Oliver is still learning to socialize and will be cat and dog tested after a brief decompression period. But with the right guidance, we know he will flourish in a loving home. Could you be the one to give Oliver it his sister Sadie the life they deserve? If you're ready to offer either of them the attention, care, and love he needs to become the confident, happy pups they're meant to be, please apply to adopt one of them today!
