Not only did this pair of injured turtles make a triumphant return to the ocean, they even had their own cheering section.Like something out of “Free Willy,” turtles named Summer and Sofie were released back into the wild on the morning of Sept. 29 to the chants and cheers of a group of Australian schoolchildren and parents.In a video posted by Great Barrier Reef Marine Park of Queensland, Australia, the turtles can be seen slowly (of course) making their way to the water after spending more than six months at the park rehabilitating injuries.The facility, which opened in 1987, has helped rehabilitate more than 200 turtles since the creation of a turtle hospital there in 2009.
